Sessions take place on the Hawthorn Campus at the University Sports Centre and are undertaken by our second year students. This practical placement is an essential part of their vocational training. Students are screened and matched by centre staff to ensure the individual needs and fitness goals of the client are met. Students have access to our facility which includes a fully equipped gym and state of the art equipment, which will be used for personal training sessions.

PT Application Form Upon completion of this application form, you will be designated a trainer. This trainer will then contact you to arrange a suitable time to meet and take you through a fitness assessment. This assessment is mandatory and included in the session price.
This process is not invasive, just a blood pressure check, health questionnaire, fitness program design, gym orientation and OH&S. Once all completed your personal training can commence.
Please note you are not taking out a gym membership, but purely a service that you pay as you go. Students will be monitored during this process by their lecturers and workplace supervisors. It is important you communicate any problems to us, should they arise. | | |
