As of January 1st 2008, Academic Development and Support (ADS) merged under the Higher Education Division, as Swinburne Professional Learning (SPL).

The SPL unit will provide new opportunities to support teaching excellence and innovation, through an emphasis on professional development and support delivered within the context of strategic curriculum renewal.
