The Ideas Gateway supports innovation at Swinburne TAFE. It encourages staff to consider ideas which will not only have a positive impact on the Swinburne TAFE division, but also ideas which are transferable across the TAFE division. The Ideas Gateway provides an opportunity for staff to share innovative, creative or practical ideas they may have about:
- enhancing delivery or assessment
- creating new products
- improving practices or processes
- adding value to client services
- removing frustrations or saving time
How are ideas evaluated?
Contributions are evaluated by a panel against the following criteria:
- An assessment of the idea's positive impact on Swinburne TAFE division
- The extent to which the idea is transferable across the TAFE division
When will the Ideas Gateway be open?
During 2007, the Ideas Gateway will open several times. The next page contains a timeline explaining when ideas can be submitted, when the panel meets to discuss ideas and when participants can expect to be notified about their ideas.
The Ideas Gateway is open to all Swinburne TAFE Division staff. Ideas will be automatically responded to a reviewed by the Ideas Gateway Panel For more information on the process see the

How do I submit an idea?
When
the Gateway opens, you can submit your ideas to Jennifer Fleischer. Please contact Jennifer for the proforma document to use in your application.
