Mechatronics Courses

The Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology (Mechanical) aims to equip you with the knowledge and skills required for a career in manufacturing and mechanical control engineering. Putting a major emphasis on automation systems, the course will allow you to pursue employment in numerous roles, including:

  • Tool designer
  • Dafting technician
  • Production supervisor/planner/controller
  • Estimator
  • Supervisor or manager of manufacturing and assembly plants
  • Sales technical officer

The flexibility of the course is enhanced by the opportunity to choose from three distinct streams:

  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Manufacturing - production, computer numerical control (CNC), computer aided manufacturing (CAM) or thermodymanics/fluid power.
  • Computer Aided Drafting (CAD)
