Aviation Courses

If you've got your sights set on commercial flying, Swinburne's Advanced Diploma of Technology (Aviation) enables you to gain the skills and knowledge required to become a pilot with regional and major airlines.

The flexible course offers you a choice of two elective streams: the Command Instrument Rating stream, or the Flight Instructor Rating stream.

Providing you with an equal balance of high quality Commerical Pilot Licence training and educational instruction, the course allows you to develop competencies required of today's professional pilots. Upon successful completion of the course, you'll graduate with a high level of flying prowess and the ability to solve problems methodically and rationally.

All of Swinburne's Aviation courses are developed and delivered with the guidance of our external Aviation Industry Advisory Committee and the Transport and Distribution Industry Skills Council.
