Terms and Conditions

Course Cancellation

  1. A full refund is available for cancellations received in writing at least ten business days prior to course commencement. Cancellations received within ten business days of course commencement will be subject to a 15% administration fee. The course fee is non-refundable 48 hours prior to the course commencing. Swinburne, COHST will not take any responsibility for travel or accommodation costs incurred
  2. If a participant withdraws during the course due to illness or extraordinary reasons, a refund/charge will be issued minus a 15% administration fee
  3. Written notification of withdrawal is required. All course materials are to be returned before a refund can be approved
  4. This policy will apply to all registrants who have completed an enrolment form, regardless whether payment has been made

Transfers

  1. Transfers may be made without charge up to ten business days prior to course commencement. Transfers within ten business days of course commencement will be subject to a 15% administration fee
  2. Alternate candidates are acceptable at no additional charge. A maximum of two transfers allowed
  3. Swinburne, COHST reserves the right to cancel courses due to insufficient enrolments or to conditions beyond its control. Notification of any cancellation will be made as early as practical and include a full refund

Payment Details

  1. To secure a place, cheque or credit card payments should be received within ten business days of registration
  2. Full payment must be received no later than ten business days before course commencement to secure a place. Late registrations will be considered subject to availability
  3. Cheques are to be made payable to Swinburne University
  4. Please ensure your cheque is accompanied with the relevant course details. Prices are subject to change without notice. COHST courses are deemed GST exempt unless otherwise specified

Notification of Booking

  1. Notification of enrolment will be sent to the participant upon receipt of an application form. A Confirmation Letter will include the name of the course, date of the course, starting and finishing times, room number and a map of the campus. Enrolments are subject to receipt of payment in full prior to the commencement of the course
  2. COHST reserves the right to withdraw any participant from a course if payment has not been received in accordance with our payment terms and conditions
