Description

The Advanced Diploma of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is designed to suit those in a specific OHS role at a senior level. Their knowledge base may be specialised or broad. These individuals are often accountable for group outcomes.

  • The Advanced Diploma of OHS is a blended delivery course. Therefore students have the option of attending non-compulsory classes on-campus to complete the eight units listed below.
  • On receipt of an enrolment form, students will be issued with a resource pack which will provide access to, learning guides, text books, assessments and assessor support. Students will be required to complete assessments, and on-campus sessions will be available for each unit, however attendance is not compulsory.
  • Students will have a designated timeframe to complete a unit from the date that they enrol, therefore it is encouraged that units are completed on time, without undue pressure and additional charges.

  1. Losses are treated mainly as results of deficiencies in the Management System
  2. A "no-fault" and "no-blame" approach id taken to ensure the maximum advantage is derived from incident investigation
  3. The team/investigator does not produce recommendation, but rather "Judgements of Need", which are considered outside the investigation process
