Swinburne TAFE invites you to find out more about your Marketing, Media and Hospitality options at Swinburne University of Technology.
Experience life as a Swinburne student for a day. By participating in four hands-on workshops:
- Advertising, Marketing and Public Relations
- Retail Management and Real Estate
- Hospitality and Event Management
- Management and Library Information Systems
Please note you must attend all four.
If you are currently in year 10 - 12 then this event is for you! Parents and Career Advisers are also welcome to attend this event.

Dr John Butler, a teacher in the Department of Arts, won the Outstanding Teacher/Trainer of the Year Award
at the 2006 Victorian Training Awards. The winner of this award is recognised as the best in Victoria's world-class training system.
The Awards recognise the vital contribution made by learners, teachers, employers, training providers and program designers to building a world-class post-compulsory education and training system.
The award was announced at a presentation dinner held at the Crown Palladium on Monday 31st July 2006.

From refugee to cancer intern: a TAFE student's story
|
Work placements are a regular part of student life, but selection for a highly
competitive internship at Cancer Trials Australia marks the highlight of 32 year old
Susan Andric's journey from war-torn Yugoslavia.
After spending several years living as a refugee Susan moved to Tullamarine in Melbourne.
Upon arriving in Australia she had completed nearly two years of university,
and intended to continue her education in her new life.
